White paper tapeWhite paper tape. How would we live without it? The nature of white paper tape is that it:

  • is easy to tear one handed
  • is great for sealing a roll of seamless background paper, or for taping it to the floor for positioning
  • can be written on (even with pencil)
  • can be used to mark cue spots on the floor
  • can be taped to your hip to mark and remember the height of something, like a tripod
  • can be a temporary label, or even a permanent label
  • is removable, even from paper, and re-sealable (at least a few times)
  • can be used to cover spots or labels on an object in the scene
  • is hard to find, except at an art supply store.
  • You’re invited to share your own favorite, and possibly irreverent, photo, video, and studio tools.
