Pocket levelThis pocket level is a little James Bond-ish, but the last one I purchased is bright yellow; not as cool in the studio, but easy to find if you drop it outdoors. I use this to level my Nikon, Hasselblad, or any camera where I might want a level horizon line. The Hassy has a spirit level but it’s not very useful if you want to look up or down, but maintain the level right to left. You can use this on any camera part that has a flat surface. I keep one in the studio, a key chain model clipped to my camera bag, and a third in a gadget case. And though it is glass and liquid, I’ve never had one break (please don’t be a jinx).Posted by Steve Weinrebe
