Irreverent photo tool of the week.

Clear Fishing LineClear fishing line is the magic thread that holds together loads of set props. One of the great attributes of the fishing line, besides that it tends to disappear against backgrounds, is that it has amazing strength, and can hold up heavy objects, flats, reflectors, and so forth. It has to be cut with scissors; trying to break a piece off with fingers just doesn’t work. You can buy different pound-tests for different strengths (think, landing a minnow vs. landing a marlin). Cheap, useful, and lasts forever; the true markings of an irreverent photo tool. And on a nice day you can find a pond to hang a line.
