These heavy washers make a great counterbalance for small props, and they are stackable for shims. I keep white paper tape, another irreverent tool, attached to each one. The tape is re-usable so that the washer can be taped quickly to whatever I need them for while building a set in the studio. Note that I’m using a slide box to hold them (I’ll be doing a future Irreverent Tool tip on old slide boxes). These are 1.25″ washers with a .5″ center hole.Posted by Steve Weinrebe
