This prescription bottle looks a little raggedy because it has been trooped around in one of my accessories cases for years. I use this, and similar large prescription bottles, to store replacement bulbs and flash tubes. The halogen modeling lamps for flash heads, the tubular flash replacement lamp from a portable flash, all fit well. Usually the replacement lamps come with some foam padding, just stick that into the bottle and screw down the cap, for an impact resistant container. Batteries can be fit in as well. If you carry even a shoulder bag, but might have need of extra AA or AAA batteries, or a replacement halogen lamp or two, even mini-flashlights, save those old prescription bottles, and peel the label (so not to inspire extra questions when in a baggage check line, or crossing through customs). Be friendly to the environment and recycle these bottles for a great, and irreverent, photo tool.
