New tutorial at the Photoshop User web site

February 15th, 2008 · No Comments · Adobe Training, Photography

I’m very happy to announce that I’ve begun writing tutorials for the Photoshop User web site, the educational and informational web site of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). The first tutorial, currently featured on Photoshop User’s home page, is for my recommended technique for sharpening photographs, using Smart Sharpening in Luminosity mode in Photoshop CS3. I first proposed this technique in my CS3 textbook, Adobe Photoshop and the Art of Photography: A Comprehensive Introduction, and I’m gratified that the technique is getting out to the NAPP audience.

In coming tutorials at PhotoshopUser.com I’ll be sharing other tips and techniques, so look for more tutorials at their excellent web site.

Also thanks to Larry Becker, the director of NAPP, who made my participation over there possible with his gracious and diligent efforts.
