Adobe Creative Suite 5 (CS5) to be Announced on April 12, 2010

March 30th, 2010 · No Comments · Adobe CS5, Adobe Training, Photography, Photoshop, Technology, Video

This news is a few days old and there’s not much to say about it, but as an Adobe beta tester I thought I’d start a series of posts here about Phtooshop CS5 (hint: more to come).

Maybe taking a page from the incredible pre-release buzz of the iPad, Adobe has let the world know that there is a new version of its master graphics software package coming out sometime in the not-too-distant-future and we’ll all get a look at it on 4/12/2010.

For Photoshop, at least, this will be something of a milestone since Photoshop just celebrated it’s 20th birthday. Image editing has come a long way since 1990 and we can be very happy to be a part of it – with inexpensive computers, digital cameras, and powerful software like Photoshop CS4 (and soon Photoshop CS5). Check back here on April 12 for an update. Meanwhile you can countdown with Adobe to the CS5 announcement here.
