It’s time to plan your week of photo indulgence at the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport Maine. I’m giving two workshops over the summer, one early summer and one late summer. The first is The Irreverent Side of Digital Photography, June 20-26, 2010. This workshop explores many of the techniques I demonstrate in my book Irreverent Photo Tools for Digital Photographers (Cengage Learning), and will be a week filled with shooting and a lot of learning about how things work in photography. If you know some of the basics of photography, it’s time to start learning how to break the rules with both equipment and gear, and with camera settings and post-production in Adobe Photoshop as well.
My second workshop is Photoshop for Photographers, September 19-25, 2010. This class is an extension of Maine Media Workshops beginner and intermediate digital photography classes, but I’ve taught this twice before in my own special way for a master class in Adobe Photoshop and how photography workflow and photo editing can be accomplished with professional results.
In both workshops we’ll have daily photo trips to locations I’ve picked for tremendous photo opportunities, plenty of time to download and process the images on the Workshops powerful computer workstations, and to print the images in black-and-white or color for you to take home. Enroll early with the Maine Media Workshops to make sure you have a space in one of these, they are popular workshops and class size is limited.
(Can’t travel to Maine and already know lots of Photoshop? I offer Advanced Photoshop for Photographers in New Jersey as a one day, intensive one-on-one software training through Imaging R & R.)
