I have been harping on the topic of convergence for years now, and have walked the walk by cutting the cord on cable at home – going with a thoroughly delightful mix of HD Antenna-free-TV and three Apple TVs with Netflix, MLB, etc. I preach the future of media whenever I have a willing listener, though truth be told the mass populous often gives me blank stares. “You mean I won’t be able to channel surf?” (er, those hundreds of cable channels looking for something worth the monthly bill…)
Anyway, CNBC, that noisy cauldron of business news, is featuring the future of TV in a similarly named special airing on Monday May 7 at 9PM (and I would assume in other digital forms for those growing legions without cable). Link to the story here.
