Inventor of digital camera sensor tech dies at 83

Lost in the recent world news and celebrity obituaries was one of the most notable losses of the year for those interested in digital photography. Bryce Bayer, ex-Kodak scientist, who invented the tech that we now call the Bayer pattern on camera sensors, passed away at the age of 83. Read his obituary here.
